Facebook Awareness is produced 2012, November 29 by Deanne Kolberg, Mo Zhang and David Ahn. Its original production ran only December 6th at the UCDC first floor lobby. The play is set in University of California Washington Center, where three friends, Deanne, Mo and David trying to finish their final project on theater class. Three friends embark on a spectacular journey, but challenged by the most deadly obstacle called Facebook. Along their journey they found the true meaning of friendship and Deanne and David get a glimpse of “Call Me Maybe” by Mo Zhang. Does Mo have what it takes to be the next American Idol? Facebook Awareness is a humorous and entertaining play that addresses both negative and positive effects of social networking in our daily lives.
